Shinkansen Central Exit
If you are heading south of Kyoto Station towards Toji Temple,
or if you want to use the taxi stand,
the Shinkansen Central Exit is the easiest way to get there.
1.Head towards the Shinkansen Central Exit.
The exit is marked by a yellow sign.
The white sign is for the transfer gate to the JR line,
so be careful not to make a mistake.

2.Go through the ticket gate at the “Shinkansen Central Gate”
- If you have a ticket, please pass through the ticket gate.
- If you have an IC card, please tap the card to pass through.
Note! You cannot exit the ticket gates with an “EX Ticket.”

3.Exit the ticket gate and head to the left.
- Take the escalator on the right and you will see the taxi stand ahead.

If you are looking for coin lockers, it is convenient to use this exit.
1.Head to the Shinkansen Hachijo Exit

2.Go down the stairs or escalator.



3.After exiting the ticket gates and going out the front door, you will find the coin lockers.
