Subway Line (Kyoto Municipal Subway)
For those using a ticket and carrying a suitcase,
the transfer route to the subway from the Shinkansen Central Exit is a longer route but smoother.
There are three routes to transfer to the subway: Shinkansen Central Exit,
Hachijo Exit, and Hachijo East Exit.
The route via the Shinkansen Central Exit is a bit of a detour,
but it is equipped with escalators and is recommended for those with suitcases.
On the other hand,
the route via Hachijo Exit or Hachijo East Exit is convenient as it has a shorter travel distance,
but some areas do not have escalators.
Therefore, it is more suitable for those with less luggage.
